I liked it a lot. They turned Green Arrow into a real badass. I doubt we'll be seeing any boxing glove arrows on this show.

Except for the 70's Arrow is a badass. Remeber he was the only hero to back Batman in Dark Knight returns and Kingdom Come

Don't know how many of you caught it when he walked in on his sister right as she was doing a line of coke. Her name is "Speedy". This same incident was a famous Green Arrow Cover back in the '70's.
Also,that young lawyer that used to be GA's GF is the daughter of David Cassidy.

Watched the first two episodes. I think it is fairly good and has some promise along with some limitations. What will he do after he goes through all the names in the book? His father is going to come back,you do not get a decent actor like that and just use him in a few flashbacks.

Love this show! His sister is so hot... remember her from the OC.

I liked the OQ from Smallville, and when I heard he wasn't in this show I was initially bummed. But this actor kills it. He is really solid.

How can his dad come back? He was clearly dead and buried on the island.

Really enjoying it.

The flashbacks to Oliver's time on the island have been especially good.

Loved seeing Deathstroke last week.

Still trying to figure out who John Barrowman's character is.

John Barrowman is The Dark Archer.

And that wasn't really Deathstroke that tortured Oliver but they did introduce Slade this week.

I need to see what shakes THAT thinks.

It follows the same story telling process as Smallville. Each week the bad guy of the week is taken out with about 7-10 minutes left in the show. The rest of the time is spent filling in the running story that goes on each episode. Right now it's kind of "Lost" confusing.

I'm 7 episodes behind which should tell you what I think of this show. I liked it at the beginning, but got sick of it pretty quick. Too much "bad guy of the week" for my taste and not enough tie ins to DC cannon. Needs more of an overriding storyline to interest me.

I have them all saved on my DVR so I'll probably go back and give them a chance eventually, but as of now I can't bring myself to press the play button and that's not a good sign.

It's definitely early Smallville/Supernatural with the villain of the week with threads of overarching plot woven in.

Not yet. He said his mom was to the cops, but he made it seem like he lied when Thea confronted him.

Smallville was more campy which I liked. And the bad guys were all meteor rock freaks with the occassional name villain. Plus you had Clark discovering his powers and his heritage. Maybe Green Arrow just isn't that interesting a character. No powers to discover, a no name rogues gallary and his backstory is about being washed up on an island as oppposed to being an alien. Having him fight the mafia isn't really that exciting on the super hero scale.

The chick is hot though, but even that pales in comparison to Smallville's Lana.

Deadshot, Count Vertigo, Deathstroke, China White, and the Dark Archer are DC Villains.

Some of the other ones have been good enough characters to keep me interested.

Can't believe they killed off the Canary! What does that mean, is someone else gonna become the canary? The real canary is named Dinah Lance, same name as tv canary's mom. Doubt the mom will take over. What about sister Laurel???

Either way, I still can't believe they killed her off considering what a big part of DC and Green Arrow she is.

Hopefully if she does come back she comes back with special powers like the real Canary.
