The Lions look like a decent play. Christian Ponder is brutal. I can't see that offense putting up more than 10 points. Lions should be able to win an ugly game.

No megatron for Detroit this week. He's out.

And I believe Teddy will be back for Minnesota. He said last week that if the game were Sunday he could have played.

Then you gotta like Minnesota at home coming off the Thursday night loss. Minnesota is still in the hunt. They don't want to lose at home to Detroit.

This game is a pick'em with slight edge to Detroit. For that reason I would stay away. There has to be better games to play. What about Arizona - 3.5 at Warshington?

Very difficult week to handicap anything. Spreads are too close to where they should be.

When in doubt, go with the home team (BUF, MIN, ATL). Don't see how the Bears can win this one when they have Hester, who should be a big factor. Two TDs is really not out of the question.

All of the Thursday Night games have been blowouts and I expect that trend to continue. Pick the team who has the ability to blow out the other and forget the line or real capping.

Colts look like an easy play tonight

like I said...although the final wasn't a blowout, they still had a 24 point lead and covered

Houston was the superior team.

If I was Crennel I'm benching Swearinger and putting in Manning. Then sending an e-mail to Smith to cut the clown.

Riiight, you and JJ Watt were probably both thinking that as the Colts went up 24-0 and Watt is out there waving his stupid finger

Houston will win in Indy. No doubt.

Indy was greatly relieved to escape with a win last night.

Nice work, though Houston almost caught up. Almost went with the Colts with your comments in my head, but I didn't know either team well enough.

What about this Chargers - Raiders game with the Bolts at -7 at Oakland? Seems too easy with SD having both a top 5 defense and offense so far. The wildcard is having Sparano step in as head coach, but I don't see that being enough to make it close, though Oakland surprised San Diego last season at Oakland, a game that I lost on.

Some people are talking about a Miami upset over GB. Kind of like that pick with Tannehill playing well. He just came off of one of his best against Oakland before a bye week. GB has a poor record at MIA. Plus, the Fins are getting a couple of players back.

Houston did zilch on offense. They only were in the game because the Colts got sloppy with a big lead. The only way Houston wins is if you bet the Colts

Not Bears. Whole linebacking crew is out. Atlanta's offense is better than Bears and are playing home where they excel. And it's payback game for Hester.

Two last bets:

1) What do you bet this fella was doing during today's game?

2) What's the over/under of him getting fired? I'll start with Tuesday afternoon.

I'm going to say he was fired today. Remember the NFL is trying to care about women.

Jim Harbaugh has to be the dumbest coach in the NFL. Almost cost the 49ers tonight with two bad calls to go for it on 4 and short when they could have taken the easy points to put the game out of reach. Every gambler on Frisco wanted to shoot Harbaugh tonight, because if St. Louis scores a touchdown instead of making the field goal late, it would have been a 3 pt game, where the 49ers would have lost ATS.

Not cool, but I'll take the win.

7-2 now ATS.
