That goal earned Carcillo another month in the lineup.

He has been decent the first two games. If he can keep it up (ha!), I can deal with it.

Guaranteed the Bears would beat the Niners and predicted the Hawks would win this game by at least 3 goals after blowing a 2 goal lead. I'm probably the best poster this forum has ever seen and no one pays attention to me.

Okay, that's what you call "taking care of your shit." The Hawks should do it more this year. Not a lot of upsets around the league tonight.

Hard to take much from this game, just another night where the Hawks putz around for a little bit and then put it away. The Sabres are just so bad and still might not even be the worst team in the league.

TVR is looking so good so far, a strike against the "q y u no play rukis" crowd. He does when they play like that. Meanwhile, I think I've seen juuuust about enough of David Rundblad. I don't blame Stan for falling in love. Everyone falls in love with handsome toolsy Europeans. Four teams have fallen in love with him and a fifth team will think they can make him work. Dude's just not fitting in here.

Nor is Brad Richards. Maybe it's because he was with Saad and Kane all preseason, fit in well there, and then got kicked down to a totally different role with Bickell and Smith because Versteeg got hurt and Q decided he missed the Saad-Shaw-Kane line. To Q's credit, he was right to miss that line, because they've been humming, but Richards is a ghost on the third line. I hope he makes it work. He has time, no big deal.

Flames are next, I expect similar results.

Dude I can't even keep the kids on my son's hockey team straight without their helmet and jersey. Even then I have to process the last name first.

Rundblad is absolutly horrible. I will be surprised and disapointed if he is up with the big club more than a couple of weeks.

Runblad, Richards and Bickell have been brutal. At least the first two have the excuse of being new and are adjusting, Bickell just sucks.

Yea...I'm sure that the Hawks have buyers remorse regarding the Bickell contract. I was hoping they would sell high with him rather than give him a big contract. He'll have a hot streak for a few games, but he's really not that good at Hockey.

Two games does not change the history of Q and young players. He has run a boatload of unproven talent out of town without those guys ever getting a real opportunity. Dunks is being run into the ground again against piss poor teams. I think he was on the ice 29 minutes in the first game and over 27 against the Sabres. No reason at all for that. The entire Richards thing is too funny. WE GOT OUR SECOND LINE CENTER. Oh but wait there's more, coach Q won't play him on the second line. It is clear to me that there is a gap between the GM and coach. We've certainly see that with the rotating collection of assistant coaches, none of which (since the original ones) have a clue how to execute special teams. For heaven's sake, we have the most skilled players in the league on the front and back end, and this team should easily be top 5 every year on the pp and penalty kill.

But whatever, we have enough talent to overcome my minor gripes. The Pirri thing will forever stick in my mind as well as losing Leddy because we had to overpay Bickell and Crow.

It was nice to have a Hossa siting last night. Seabrook even played a bit. Both were invisible in the first game.
