You mean you don't see the genius in that play call bro?

They could have run the ball 5 times from the 7 yard line in the first half.

Instead they threw it twice and kicked a FG.

Run the ball.

Excellent all around performance

Before I hear that they beat a bad Falcons team, this was a road game, and I wasn't hearing Chicago given much of a chance going in (particularly by the "experts" on the Score), being an underdog, playing with backup LB's, and an offense that was struggling to score points.

This doesn't turn the season around unless they build off this, but I'd take a 3-3 record with 4 of the first 6 on the road. There is hope for the season still.

I'll take 3-3 but the Bears should be 5-1. They beat themselves in 2 games.

They could have a better record if they played 2nd half of games (see Carolina or GB) and/or avoided costly mistakes (see Carolina, GB and Buffalo). I'm satisfied where they are though. The first half of this season is about surviving with all of the road games, the 2nd half should be about making a run.

This is still a 7-9 , 8-8 missing the playoffs team.

Perhaps. Too early too write them off though.

Yeah this is nice and all for today, but they're 500 and third place in the division. Unacceptable

Great performance and win for the beloved today. Cutler and the defense were outstanding. No turnovers = victory.
If the Bears play like this in every game they win out and my 13-3 prediction is good!

BEARS!!!

That was the most complete victory I have seen from the team in some time.

Agreed, and yet there were still two special teams holding penalties and a blocked extra point.

The ST continues to give them horrible field position. Here were their drive starts -

20
17
39
21
7
14
20
13
35
45
ATL 40

Those last 3 were when Holmes fair caught a 57-yard punt, Hurst intercepted a 4th down that cost the Bears 16 yards, and Atlanta stopped punting.

They basically started 1 drive outside their own 20 when the game still mattered.

I want them to take a knee on every kick off. I can't think of a time they've brought the ball out past the 20.
