FF radio is bad if you do not play or have not dog in the fight of anyone's question.

Steve isn't always wrong. I've never had an issue separating my fantasy teams from the teams I root for. My meatballism forced me to bench Rodgers in 2 championship games. I would rather lose than win because of him. People talking about their fantasy teams is not much different than people talking about their kids or pets.

Is it me or did he completely contradict himself with these three sentences?

No. I'm a diehard fan of all my teams. Starting Aaron Rodgers when he's playing against the Bears would probably be good for my fantasy team in a championship game. Since that title would make me feel dirty if the Bears lost (like they normally do against the Packers) I benched him. That's called being a true fan.

You don't have to really listen though. You can be polite and then move on. It doesn't kill you. Do you also hate kids and pets? Basically it sounds like you all hate hearing people talk about things you aren't interested in.

That's different than what most people are complaining about. They're saying people root for players on their fantasy team even if it hurts the team the root for. I'm saying I've never had that problem and never will have that problem.

not to mention that kids and pets can...you know...have an impact on other people. unlike your fantasy football team. i doubt anyone would've cared about my d&d character sheet, for example.

I think the main issue is when people bring up fantasy comments when clearly the discussion is about real football.

I'm not sure why you guys can't understand that many people don't play fantasy for exactly the reasons cited. Messes up your rooting interests, and it seems to appeal to the segment of fan that loves to hate bash opposing fanbases and talk shit to buddies over dumb stuff. That's just not why I watch the games

Maybe it is. Maybe my approach isn't normal. I've had to listen to things I wasn't interested in for years in order to feed my kids so I'm used to it. Even before then I don't recall being pissed about it. Maybe because I was the youngest child and didn't have much of a choice.

I'm fine. Just confused about why listening to someone talk about something for 30 seconds can ruin an experience for someone and why being polite is so hard. Can you assist me?

If I ask you about the FOOTBALL GAME last night and you proceed to tell me about your fantasy team, you have ceased the politeness of the conversation, not I. I will just act accorddingly from there on out.

Right on. 90% of these games are completely unwatchable as it is. I don't know how anyone endures any of this crap without some sort of monetary interest. Those saying the College game is better are 150% correct. In my opinion. Of course.

I don't play fantasy football because it's dumb.

A game where 50%+ of the players on the field don't matter is silly.

I have played baseball, and basketball, don't have a problem against rooting for my team. Prince Fielder can hit for the cycle for all I care, as long as the Cubbies still pull out a win.

You are a Caller Bob for even drafting Rogers in the first place.

No Packers on this man's team!
