Amazing episode! Confused though, if Negan was the bad guy in the THEN scene at the end then how would he be around in the future since Garrett obviously made good on his promise to take Terminus back from those people.

The lady fighting Carol said Terminus was good at first, then they let in bad people, got taken over, took it back over from them and then turned into the canibals.

btw, we didn't see Garrett die. I'm assuming we see him again...in fact I wouldn't be surprised if we have a second part to this story with a little mini story similar to the actual "Hunters" arc in the comics that Terminus was based on. If that happens, I bet we'll see "tainted meat", but with Dale gone who will it be? I'm guessing Bob.

Yeah, all that confused the hell out of me.

He was an investigative reporter in Treme. Great show and great acting but just never went anywhere in the end.
I enjoyed the episode last night. What a way to start it by leaning everyone over the troughs. Nice to see Carol
back in the fold. I stopped reading the comics around issue #110 so I don't really know what happens but there is
an air of unbelievablility with the guy who supposedly has the cure to the disease. I thought the army guy said
something near the end about " we have to tell them just not now ". Not sure if that meant the truth or some
actual facts about the supposed cure.

Yeah, all that confused the hell out of me.

Actually it occurred to me that I read about Negan being cast only a few weeks ago. So I doubt that was him. I think he comes in at the end of this season. But that guy in the THEN scene will probably be a villain too

My initial reaction about that guy was that he looked very similar to the guy they let out of the container first.
I am probably wrong with that guess though. They would have killed that guy early on if they took over the
camp from him.

Yeah, that was him. The guy confirmed it on Talking Dead afterward.

Yes, the guy with the beard who was yelling "Were just like you" was the guy at the end in the THEN scene

That was great.

I wonder if they will have Morgan teasers all season, or will he be showing up in the next episode or two. The Clear episode from Season 3 is probably my favorite of the series. Fantastic character, and great actor.

This episode had me thinking about something....

Are there any animals, particularly farm animals, that have gone extinct as a result of the zombie apocalypse? Are there any cows left? Pigs I could see being tough to catch and once the zombies broke into the pen they probably scurried out and now are living feral in the woods. But cows, they ain't too fleet of foot. How would they escape zombies? I doubt they could. Even if they ran away the zombies would pursue and eventually run them down.

If you watch the season preview, Garrett is definitely gonna be returning and interacting with the group. It actually looks like he is part of the group or at least not being held prisoner in the scenes they show. Weird.

I love way out there contemplations like this.

Really surprised no zombie zoo animals like monkeys, gibbons, Orangs, Gorillas, etc, either.

That would be fucking cool.

. . . Although Atlanta's Zoo is kind of shitty and small compared to Brookfield.

In the comics they meet a guy who has a tiger. He might pop up this season or next.

That's the thing. Thought they'd spend 3 episodes stuck in that damn train car. Pleasantly surprised!!!

Were you at all annoyed by the dude who was like, "I can't tell you what the cure for the zombie plague is even though we are locked in a fucking boxcar and are all about to die."? I have zero confidence in his ass reaching D.C.

Yea he needs to die. Ideally, Karl and him bump into each other, fall down and get eaten.

His character is just awful and the corresponding story will be dumb.

I get it's a zombie show and suspension of disbelief is neccessary but the red haired dude having a perfectly cropped and edged goatee bothers me.

He's a little woozy, plus it's pretty obvious that he was bitten or scratched at the food bank raid.
