is it racist that when the goofy black callers like west side mike and quit playin (or basically any older black caller) call that Terry and Dan always giggle afterwords? They dont do that with white callers.

Man, I sure miss Quit Playin'! I laughed too.

I've actually called that out (did so the other day). Someone else brought it to my attention. Dan does it all the time.

When a white caller (and yes, you can tell by the voice if a caller is white or black) says certain things, Dan will rip then. When a black caller does it, he doesn't and even becomes more 'buddy buddy' - you know, to prove how inclusive he is.

Case in point - on Monday, a black caller called in. He said, within the first two sentences - 'Alshon Jefferies' and 'we' when referring to the Bears. Bernstein didn't correct him. This as opposed to Bernstein's smarmy 'JEFFERY' and 'it's not we. you don't play for the Bears' that happens immediately when a white caller does it.

Dan and some caller arguing now.

Funny.

He should be on more. There needs to be more guys like that on.

That dude had a damn good point that got lost when he got all mad at Bernstein for Bernsteining him.
A couple thoughts:
1. It seems his initial point was that Rose should be applauded for saying that he's trying to read more. And I agree. Dan was just 40 minutes ago telling us about how reading a book turns on him mind or whatever drivel he was ejaculating out. But the caller was right. Don't be like Billy Madison and make fun of a guy for trying to read.

2. I love how when the conversation evolves and Dan is actually wrong, he goes with one or two standard responses to deflect from his wrongness... either you say "why do you care?" or "Why are you defending him?". In this case the caller had a good reason to defend him.

3. Bernstein hates when people use the term "Haters" but he went and called that cat a "Fanboy" which is THE EXACT SAME THING IN REVERSE POLARITY! Who are your CRAPPIN?
