If your kid is that good and a prospective leader, he should be part of the solution in the next few years

I also have a legal question:

As a little league coach, I always assign snack duty to parents after each game throughout the season. There are even times when a family is assigned twice in a season. Have I opened myself up to liability.

Why is snack duty even a thing?

Why not have kids bring their own snack, or setup a "concession stand" where all proceeds go towards the league?

I agree, DB. Especially if Little Kaleb doesn't like bananas, or Elijah is allergic to peanuts. Oh yeah? Then bring your own food for your own dorky kid.

Dumbest thing ever! Hate it! Too many rules and opinions! Should stop this practice immediately!

Unless the team is all assholes I think weekly dinners would be fun.

I don't get why the snack thing is such a big hassle, you bring a damn snack and if the kid wants he or she eats it, if not get something at home.

I stopped the snack thing when one of our parents wanted to bring each kid a spinach smoothie.

We have survived the last two seasons without a snack schedule.

That is not a snack. That is cruel and unusual punishment.

That's silly. That would never fit on a sign.

- I don't really know how you can expect kids from a sport congregating outside of school especially when organized by parents.

- If kids were suspended seven days for this I'm not sure what you could sue over and get money for?

It's your people. The napervillians and plainfieldians. First it was allergies which I get. My solution would be saying no snacks! If not then give us a list or something. Then people started bringing treat bags. Fucking crazies. Somebody must have complained or our coach is a goof because the latest email is healthy snacks only. Apples and stuff. Really? I'm bringing 12 apples to games now that kids probably won't really want nor is it necessary because they ain't gonna starve. Dumbest shit ever.

I give each kid a 20 and an airplane bottle of Tito's.

Send 'em on their way.
