Fun while it lasted, but this team is headed for 7-9 or 8-8.

At least we still have fantasy football :thumleft:

Dude....your team won a title in 09.

I was in fucking high school the last time my team won one. That is so depressing.

Preschool for me. All I remember about that season is the Super Bowl shuffle.

And I'm still wishing the Saints had drafted Aaron Murray to replace Drew Brees after next season.

The next Brees commercial I see, my tv's going down Elvis style.

The good news is 2 of the losses are against AFC opponents.
A 3rd loss is against Carolina which probably won't make the playoffs, so there will be no tiebreaker with them.

GB will win the division but the Bears have an excellent chance of making the playoffs provided they handle the rest of the NFC opponents.

They just need to stay consistent. Today the offense looked sleepy.

This thread should not be here. What is this thread really about. This thread should not be here when the playoffs are 10 weeks out.

Sure it should. Season is over. Just have to play out the string.

I'm talking strictly mathematically. They still have to play a hell of a lot better than today.

Slim mathematical possibilities aren't an "excellent chance".

Big tiebreaker is losses in NFC. So far the Bears have two. I picture about 3 8-8 teams fighting for the last playoff spot.

No 8-8 team is making the playoffs in the NFC.

The Bears can't lose more than 2 more games. They have to win 1 of the next 2 games to have a legitimate shot. Winning both puts them in good position.

I am not ready to bury them just yet, but it certainly does not look promising. If they have 6 or 7 wins by Thanksgiving (including @Detroit) they could still make some noise.
