I didn't know Wacha hadn't pitched in so long. Dumb move by Matheny. And it was magnified when he left him in there when he couldn't find the plate.

No way. Series goes 6 and we get to have a 12+ inning game that keeps us up late .

I will bet you a box of chicken nuggets the series gets back to Kansas City.

Kind of sucks that there is so much time off before the series starts. I think it affects the Royals more than the Giants. That said, I'm on the Royals bandwagon and going with Royals in 7.

Today, as you may or may not know, it doesn't matter, is the opening of the World Series. What I'd like to suggest is that we change the work detail tonight so that we can watch the ball game.

Yeah I dont understand why there had to be 5 days off in-between rounds. Should've started on Sunday.

The wonderful world of tv doesn't want their precious schedule messed up.

Bochy is probably the best bullpen manager in the game. KC has the best bullpen. Neither team can hit, allegedly.

SHARK is back just in time to tell us how FOX executives hate the matchup.. (well, half of it, at least)

Maybe I should say best current handler of pitching staffs

He has had a lot of guys shine in defined roles like Affeldt and Romo, but seems to have a knack for when to pull them or not use them once they've lost effectiveness. He had the stones to send Timmy to the bullpen and keep him there. In the playoffs, he isn't afraid to use any pitcher in any situation.

Contrast that to Matt Williams and Ausmus; if they had not been so set in pitcher "roles" both those teams might be playing still.

Or, if one wants to go look in absolutes; Bochy has won his last 8 playoff series. Those questionable decisions look a lot better when you win.

Nice. Way to make up for that terrible call by the 3rd base coach.

Wait, Fox put almost the entire NL side of the postseason on Don't Call It Speedvision Channel 479 and someone is expecting them to preempt their network schedule to fit games in?

He looks like the big game getting shot full of holes.

Yes I still want the Royals to win the series. This crowd is in shock.

The Royals mojo is being tested, if they come back and win a game they're losing 5-0 to Bumgarner then there really will be no stopping them

Royals haven't gotten punched like this since the WC game
