Up here in "Win-sconsin", "baig" is pronounced by the born-and-raised locals, instead of "bag".

I believe the true urban New Orleans accent is actually more closely related to the Brooklyn accent than anything in the South, which gives the "new" kind of a "noo" sound. "NOO awlins."
