It's frustrating because he's definitely capable of scoring, he just goes through these bone-dry spells where he can't get on a stat sheet to save his life -- but maybe that's just because the atavistic monsters who run the NHL won't add Corsi-Bench-Grimacing-For-% to the box score. Toews gets a ton of latitude from the hockey media for being a very Canadian Canadian, no question.
