Another garbage period. This team is brutal.

Okay, you tell me about how well this team played.

Oh, while they haven't been great the last couple of games, I wouldn't call them brutal.

My  was mainly referring (again) to a thread you started before the season... :D

Well, I didn't exactly expect the team to have like a 5% shooting percentage or whatever it's down to now. This is ridiculous. Guys have to score. The rest of the league is sort of passing them by, and with three-point games, it's really hard to move to the front of the pack.

The Hawks inability to score goals is puzzling and concerning.

Well, just have another 25-SOG third period and see what happens, I guess. Maybe Captain Harvey The Rabbit will do something.

It will even out over the course of the year.

No reason for alarm.

It probably will. It'll just be an uphill battle. We're used to the Hawks starting strong and then spending the last two months derping it away (2012, 2014). Digging a big hole and climbing back out of it is kind of new. It might also be hard considering Minnesota looks really good and St. Louis never stops trying.

They're still leading the league in shots but are down to 25th in scoring. There hasn't been a Blackhawks team 25th in scoring since Bill Wirtz died. This is really weird.

That's happened once since 2009. One time in 5+ years.

Now twice...in a matter of a few weeks.
