I can't think of any team that rubs the public the wrong way more than the 2014 Chicago Bears

I do recall thinking, quietly, to myself, on a few occasions during the season, that I wasn't altogether that interested in the 2004 Cubs winning the World Series because, on the whole, I disliked too many of them, and figured it'd just be my luck that it'd be that group of assholes that would end up winning it. Boy, I really dodged a bullet there.

But, they don't hold a candle to the utter disdain I have for this 'Cavalcade of Nitwitted Fuckery' that is your 2014 Chicago Bears.

Yeah the 04 Cubs got to be way up there. Kent Mercker, Hawkins, Prior, Alex Gonzales, Michael Barrett. .. just a bunch of turds.

That's TP. Also those vertical stripes add at least a half inch.

Every Bears team since the year after they won the SB has been extremely unlikeable.

In terms of talent, perhaps. But in how they comport themselves this year's edition rates pretty high.

So now I know who to blame for the collapse of my 2004 Cubs. What type of idiot fans have a hard time rooting for a team that has a legitimate chance at winning a title? Why do you have to like the players in order to properly root for the team? Why do you call yourselves fans?

I'm thinking of the Ben Wallace era Bulls.
Particularly the 06-07 team: Ben Gordon, Ben Wallace and Tyrus Thomas.

It was, on paper, a better team. Still won almost 90 games even with one of the worst bullpens in human history.

Yes he was, there was someone else on that team though that was unlikable... Duhon? Can't remember.

Nah, that team at least took care of its shit. Hate the 2008 Bulls that got Skiles fired and put Joakim Noah on trial in kangaroo court.

Yes, my mistake, that's the one I was thinking of, the one that missed the playoffs.
