Having said that, I will allow myself a moment's daydream of the apoplectic reaction from Harbaugh were he to be coach of this team and woke up to something like this being disseminated in the news, particularly during the week they go to division rival Green Bay in a game the team desperately needs to win if they want to pretend they are anything consequential.

No and he doesn't really scream command the room type but he also wasn't given the tools to succeed. The defense didn't like him from day one and pouted about Lovie. Trestman had to keep some staff, he had to run a similar defense the first year, I don't know what he was told about Cutler. The organization sucks. It's his fault, but it's not all his fault.

at first i thought the comments were pretty damning... then i learned the context and it doesnt change one bit what i think of lance briggs
