Did Bryant respond publicly on Twitter to the guy?

Cause if he didn't, then nominate me for Douchebag of the week and I'll second your nomination.

Just stop yourself, you miserable old coot.

He replied by the method he was originally contacted. Why should he be inconvenienced by taking additional steps to make sure nobody knew?

Like the steps he took to get personal information from the guy?

You mean those steps?

He sounds like a great kid. He's also a huge kid at 6'5. I guess we all wait until May to find out what kind of ML hitter he is.

Because he is a cubs prospect whom they are counting on to be really good.

Nobody else thinks he will be good except Theo and Jed.

So if he is real good, it will prove how smart they are

Where did I chastise him?

Other than questioning the spelling of his name?

He looks like a yokel, I expect a little better from #1 prospects.

I remember an interview with a guy from San Diego who gushed about Bryant after he was drafted. The guy wanted his Daughter to marry the guy, because as good a ballplayer as he was at San Diego in college, he was an even better human being. This is a nice story and Shoutout worthy. I'm sure Bryant will supply many worthy moments in his playing career, but that his first Shoutout was given as a result of superior character is kinda cool too.
