Yeah, I was hoping it would be a completely different kind of story somewhere else. Maybe a settlement in a major city or something and not another group of people on the run.

Also, as far as content, IMO the best part of any zombie story is the part where the outbreak starts and spreads. That's always my favorite stuff and we didn't get ANY of that on TWD so far aside from a few flashbacks. If this show focuses on that month that we never saw that would be awesome.

Ive seen it called the worst episode of Walking Dead by a few people this morning

Looks like they are going to focus completely on Abraham, Maggie and Glen next week judging by the
previews. I don't really like it when they do that.

The one thing that did bother me about this episode was that Noah was able to outrun Beth and get away, even when he had the injured leg or knee from his fall in the elevator shaft. Beth should have pulled a Shane on Noah, and shot him in the knee, Otis style. (Which BTW is probably my favorite moment of the series).

My favorite moment was the entire episode where that HUGE herd attacked the farm after the Rick/Shane/Carl reckoning. So awesome.

Loved the episode, great to see a totally different group, one that wasn't in the comics.

for those of us that read the comics I think we all know who Noah is, especially when me mentioned where he was from and that they had walls.


So seems pretty obvious that Darryl is with Carol, Beth and Noah when he returns to the church. And thanks to Noah, they will have their next destination.

This episode tangentally made me think of the Silo book series by Hugh Howey (Book 1: Wool, Book 2: Shift, Book 3: Dust).
The book series is not about zombies but about a post-apocalyptic society that takes place in an underground silo, I will not give away anything more but the books are fantastic.

I also liked the episode, less because of Beth and more because of the society that existed in this building.
and yes, I think I know who Noah is...

Episode was better than last week but really didn't flesh out anything that most of us didn't already know.
Next week looks like all Daryl and Carol but at least the previews made it look like it has some action. Only
3 episodes left this season is a little disappointing. Will that other series air in between season 5 and 6?

Tons of action.
We found out about Eugene. (at least those of us that didnt read it being discussed on page 10 of this thread)
We saw what Abraham was before he met Eugene


Huge improvement over last week.

I thought this was a thread about the Bears Defense.

Abraham's wife is up there with Lori in the competition for Worst Mother Ever.

1.) Your husband kills people in defense of you and the kids.

2.) This makes you scared of your husband.

3.) You then sneak away with the kids to make it on our own.

4.) You then get eaten by zombies.

It usually comes back for the second half of the season in February.

I thought the episode was alright. I like the Eugene character. He just kind of cracks me up.
