They will. I'm telling you. Only loss will be Thanksgiving vs the Lions.

That will be 9-7 and they'll miss the playoffs.

Then what?

Wanna wager on that Beardown? If they don't go 6-1, you cannot start or post in any B&B-related threads for six months. If they go 6-1, I'll take a year hiatus from here.

3 months and you have a bet. You only have to leave for 3 months if they don't.

They'll finish 6-10 and not fire anyone except maybe a position coach or two.

Forget the leaving for RedskinGreg (racist bastard, by the way). He doesn't have to leave if I win. I don't care enough for him to leave. It will just be on me in the B&B section.

CSFMB:

Just has to be 6-1, by the way. I just think it will be a loss on Thanksgiving.

Just an FYI... the losses are last, and the first number is wins.

the vikes and bucs games are totally winnable. the saints always suck at soldier field in the winter. doesn't matter how bad the bears have been...so give both vikes games to the bears, and the bucs, and that's 3. saints, that's 4. they could potentially win one of the detroit games.

if romo's healthy, the cowboys should beat the bears. they have more to play for.

they could realistically go 5-2. they seem to play decent against bad teams. and as usual the schedule favors them down the stretch.

I'm confident that Julius Peppers does.

Then they get to pick 18th. As a Packer fan I am all in favor of your scenario.

This team is giving up on the season because they want Trestman and Tucker gone. They will blow the Vikings game. Who knows from that point on.

When did Beardown take over Nas' account?

On second thought, no bet. Still think they're going 6-1, but why should CSFMB be deprived of a great thread/post if they don't? That's not fair.

for once...i don't think his prediction is that outlandish...look how easy their schedule is down the stretch. yes they've been blown out by the past two teams...the past two teams they've played are far superior teams. but both of those teams have also either been blown out or dropped a stupid game and recovered.

Yes but losing to buffalo and Carolina complicates that line of thinking in my opinion.

they won't go 6-1 but as far as beardown's typically loony predictions go...this one is actually not that bad. and 3 weeks ago, i think a lot of bears fans would have still thought this team was playoff bound after the atlanta game. you guys can't tell me you saw these past 2 games coming. i didn't even think they'd get smoked that badly 2 games in a row.

Lose to Minnesota, beat Tampa, lose to Detroit, lose to Dallas, beat New Orleans, lose to Detroit again, beat Minnesota the second time. 6-10, not enough changes.

Beat New Orleans? Like the packers the semi rejuvenated saints will rip Tucker's reverse psychology-based "coverage" packages to shreds.

yeah i really don't see it happening. even though the saints blew me away last season beating the eagles on the road in the cold, they are not good at all in soldier field in december.

Hey TS, you accidentally put the '6' in front of the '1'

well beardown i will be there to help in the immediate future as i'm going to the next 3 home games starting today, and i've got a 11-4 record seeing the bears since i properly got into football in 2001.

i was able to get in with a row 1 ticket in the 400s for under face thanks to working stubhub on monday so you know, let that packers game do something positive for me, eh?

i've spent a few hours a day out in the cold the last few days so all that's left to do is layer up and bear down. this should be a thing. i have no idea what the fuck i'm going to see on the field this week, but my 11-4 live record should hopefully bring a good omen as i figure they'll go 1-2 in the next 3 (for sure losing to the cowboys and since they're the 2014 bears they'll lose to either minnesota or.... gulp, lovie. or well i got them at least winning the lovie bowl how's that?)

but since you're saying 6-1 i'll hope that they go 3-0 and i end up 14-4 when this is all done and i'll call it a season before the saints show up and remember how to win games.

I honestly can't see this team finishing 6-1. That would actually piss me off. I can't see them winning more than 3 games.
