I thought the episode was alright. I like the Eugene character. He just kind of cracks me up.

Good point, I completely forgot they split these seasons up. I wish I was as smart as Eugene and remembered that.

Did they establish that was actually his wife and family? I wondered if they were just his first "mission".

I thought it was telling that he was looking to Glenn for his orders. And Glenn's reaction was very good in his confusion.

GREAT episode

Tons of action.
We found out about Eugene. (at least those of us that didnt read it being discussed on page 10 of this thread)
We saw what Abraham was before he met Eugene

Huge improvement over last week.

I liked last week better. Shakes will be along shortly to tell me I was right.

You are right!

I liked the payout of this episode, but it was 50 minutes of boredom to get there. Wish we saw more of the Abraham flasback....wanted more details.

I agree.

The last 5 mins of this episode were fantastic. The rest definitely left something to be desired.

this show is dumb as shit. by now there should be some organization. the fact that there isnt means everyone is a good as dead. you cant have everyone dead except for a few thousand people and all the billions that died are flesh eating zombies and expect the few thousand living to live. unless this show ends like a tom cruise movie and all the zombies get zombie ebola and they all die without warning.

Its hard to have a plan when you're constantly hungry. They started to have a plan at the prison, you saw how that ended up.

But I do agree that the humans are screwed unless they start organizing and stop killing each other. The one thing I don't understand is how often the humans are turning on each other...I guess it makes sense when you consider the limited resources like food and shelter, but I would think that some one would recognize that the only possible chance they have of surviving is with numbers. At some point they gotta think about going on the offensive and clearing out the zombies..but that can only happen when they are fully organized and not hungry.

That is definitely part of the problem. I'm not sure I could pull one off. I have never had long hair in my entire life.

There's two kinds of people in this world...those that can pull off wearing a mullet and those that don't even have the guts to try.

Interesting to read this thread pretty much all at once. We jumped on this show in August and we are now completely caught up.

Turns out I watched a lot of bad episodes.

I didn't really notice anything going slowly because I watched them in a row so I eventually got the story moving along without having to wait a week and think about it.

Pretty good episode last night. The scene with the van on the bridge was dumb but I appreciated
the dialogue and everything else about it.

The title refers to a "major game changer." Then, in the article, Dustin said he's not exactly sure if it he would call it a game changer. And ends by stating it would be monumental. Dafuq?

Replying to above post saying he and Rick are the best thing about the show

BTW, do cast members get paid the same amount for these episodes they arent in?

i would imagine the episodes they are in are usually determined before the contract is signed, so its a moop question.

If your name is in the opening credits you are considered a show regular and you get paid for every episode regardless of whether or not you are in each episode.

Pretty sure everyone in Rick's group (think its 15 people) have been promoted to opening credit status this season.

I remember you always used to hear that the actor made ___ per episode so was wondering if that had anything to do with how they are being split for a second straight season.

But it would be dumb to be lowballing the actors on such a powerhouse show

Or it could be as simple as she is setting up Beth to take fall by giving her the keys to the locker. Later when she is caught with the keys Dawn can deny giving them to her and then they can kill her for trying to steal resources and Dawn will be rid of a possible threat to her power in Beth. Remember the doc warned her that there's no way she did that out of the kindness of her heart.

I thought it was a little sloppy and totally out of show character that they never showed the second part of the scene from a few weeks ago where Darryl and Noah come back to the church. They just skipped ahead to Noah already being at the church and part of the group. I'm assuming it was a time constraint on production, but still seems sloppy for this show.

Maybe it could be as simple as the producers realizing that they have shown that type of scene several times already with different characters joining the group that they decided it would've been too repetitive so they just skipped it??
