That after 1 year of making the Hawks mistake they would at least put something in the contract where they can cut out some games fo better porgramming. Like Rongi

Julie, they must be making enough from the Hawks to not give a shit about the Bears. We all know this is a Bears town. Fuck Bill Wirtz! You old, wrinkled piece of shit.

It pisses me off that they refer to him as "Mr Wirtz" as if he's somebody to be respected.

I think it's called Judge & Dolph distributing - he's afraid to put the Wirtz name on it.
Romano is a much better company.

He Bought Judge and Dolph and owns one more. There are 5 or 6 Major distributors in the city and he owns 2 of them.

Plus has some crazy law where he is always guarenteed to make a profit. Not even sure how it works.

Nice to be worth about $3 - $4 Billion!

He also has significant real estate holdings. The family is one of the wealthiest in the city.

Could be an attempt to get his Shar Pei looking mug on the TV and generate interest in the hockey season. Expect slow-pitch action designed to create some adoration. Remember Isaacson's piece in the Trib titled "The Chairman of the Adored" after the White Sox won the ALCS?

Doesn't Jesse Jackson control some of the liquor distribution too?

He forced Budweiser to give 2 of his sons a city distributorship under the guise of "helping some disadvantaged minorities so we don't picket & protest your product." In white neighborhoods it's called Blackmail. (no pun intended!)

If you remember Jessie had a Boycott on Budweiser due to the Marketing of PowerMeister (Some 5.5% Beer) being aimed at the Black Community. Jessie had a few meetings with Anhesier Busch and they stopped the marketing directive and Jessie stopped the Boycott.

30-60 days later, 2 of Jessies Sons ended up with the River North Distributors, basically selling all the Budweiser on the North side. Pretty convenient for 2 guys who never had any dealings in the Liquor business.

This is the way Jessie spun it. He didn't even mention the Powermeister Boycott, or was the Boycott from 1982 a 16 year Boycott?

In 1982, Jackson launched a "this Bud's a dud" boycott of Anheuser Busch because it had only three Black-owned distributors nationwide. After languishing for over a decade, the boycott movement received a boost when Budweiser’s River North distributorship was accused by several of its Black employees that they were being denied promotions. Jackson came to the aid of the employees in 1997 shortly after the first EEOC suit was filed.

Shortly thereafter, Anheuser Busch contributed $10,000 to Jackson’s Citizenship Education Fund, contributed over $500,000 to the Rainbow PUSH coalition, and established a $10 million fund to help non-whites buy distributorships.

In 1998 the River North distributorship was purchased by two of Jackson’s sons, Yusef and Jonathan Jackson. They refuse to publicly disclose how much they paid for the distributor but the business was worth an estimated $25 to $30 million. Shortly after the sale, Jackson dropped his prior support of the Anheuser Busch boycott campaign.

Just read the net for all the deals he PUSHes through his "religous" organization. Actually, very similar to the Mob.
