I am starting to get the idea that during these slumps Q should just say screw balance and got Kane-Toews-Saad/Hossa for a game and get a good feeling back in the room.

Depending on your opinions of Corsi and shooting percentage, not really in a slump. Before last nights game team was shooting like 6% when normally run 3 to 4 points higher. A few too many one and done chances, but they've played better than the goals indicate.

Biggest issues on this team currently are:
Shaw at 2C
Rozsival

Darling's back to Rockford, by the way. I hope he gets a lot of work down there, because I don't trust Raanta long-term.

Hossa and Kane both play right wing. How would that work? Saad-Toews-Kane follows the Bickell/Brouwer-Toews-Kane blueprint that served us well in the past, except Saad is quite a bit better than Bickell and Brouwer. Sharp and Hossa have worked well together on Toews's line as well, though I realize it could be quite a steep drop from Toews to the husk of Brad Richards.

ESPN had an article saying Richards was finding his Rhythm because yes he missed two shots in the game against the Ducks.
I still think he sucks. Doesn't he generally score 20 or so a season? Anytime you're ready to Yump On In please do, Brad.

Had Raanta even made a start since Darling was reassigned? or does that question kind of answer itself?
