I hate him because as a grown ass adult, I don't like being told how I'm supposed to act, spend my money, or how to vote.
This takes nothing away from the great music U2 has released over the years. Unforgettable Fire, Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby are timeless musical masterpieces.

You can match him up with Bruce Springsteen for the same reason. Write and perform your music, but stop the fucking preaching.

He gets preachy. I always concede that. But he doesnt tell you who to vote for though. He's famous for being friendly with both sides.

I just dont get the hate. At the end of the day, the guy is using his celebrity and fortune to try and better the world (fighting disease and poverty) That's what we want from famous people right?

So to sum up. I get being annoyed by him. The HATE is way over the top though.
