The reason lies somewhere on the spectrum between nonchalance and laziness.

I don't when the last time I heard him on the radio, but I will today. I can't believe it.

First time I have listened. I liked Finfer alright on 670 but this is painful to my ears. Too bad
for those guys finding out the way they did but 3 sports stations is too many for this market.

Milwaukee has 3, and Chicago can't?

Completely false, and I hope they dont use that as an excuse for this stations failure.

Why would they continue to broadcast for another month? It just doesnt make sense.

Finfer is coming dangerously close to impugning capitalism here, the basis for all that is good with western civilization. If he gets any closer this is gonna get physical.

Guessing the Finfer/McKnights of the world need to leave Chicago now if they want to do sports talk.

Yeah, this wasn't a good plan or lineup, but overall it's too bad because the Score could use some competition to get them out of their rut. Instead this just probably validates them to keep doing what they're doing.

I liked having more options. But then again I also can't think of people on this station who 'deserve' a spot on WSCR or WMVP. I suppose instead of Laurence I'd prefer The Night Game, but that's about it.

Could they really dupe Feder? That would be one hell of a radio stunt by DeCastro.

I think they can only keep broadcasting on that frequency until the end of the year anyway. Curious Hair?

it's becoming painfully obvious that after a good, what, ~45-60mins of outrage radio that they dont have much to say.

Feel bad for them. Can't say I care. I never listened since the first week. Plus anybody with a brain knew this was gonna go under. I think I gave it 2 years before the Trib wouldn't want to continue to lose money. So I was off by a year.

Finfer and Connor still made the right choice. Risk was worth it. Just like it was for Goff. And they didn't get fired like Goff. They just got laid off. So they don't have that stigma. Though I don't think Finfer will get another bite of the apple. And he no longer has a Mac to help him. He might need to be a producer again. Suits like a guy like Connor. So he'll probably be a reporter somewhere.

Adam Hog was the one I didn't get. Leave THE SCORE as the Bears beat reporter to be the Bears beat reporter at THE GAME. Why do that? That made no sense. That was a bad choice.

The frequency was supposed to go dark sometime in mid 2015 I believe, but I think they got an indefinite extension on that from the FCC.

The only reason to do this is that there must be another announcement coming in 4 weeks or so. This is a stratgic plan of some sort.
