That was good, another good one was when they pulled up and saw Wayne and Jarry outside the shop
and called them "Cagney and Lacey".

 Yeah. I hate when shows mention other shows. What it says is that "Cagney & Lacy" doesn't really exist but our characters do. It still was funny though.

I thought they were looking over the accounting books that Bobby used to handle...

Wendy, Nero, Abel, and Thomas will all end up on Nero's farm...

POLITICS!! POLITICS!! POLITICS!! ASS-RAPE!! Then some story.

Kurt Sutter must hate Theo Rossi. "Hey Theo, we're bringing you back for the final season but we're going to have you get ass-slammed by some new guy in every scene you're in."

Lmao poor Theo. I thought the same thing.

Like who did he pissed off.

Too much talking upfront again. Glad next week is the finale. I'm guessing it's going to be a shade under 3 hours.

I was expecting more from this episode personally. Even with a three hour show can they
actually wrap this up?

I just checked and my dvr said from 9-12 for next week. Gotta figure they'll do an hour of them talking. So probably a solid 2 hours.

Ugh

Spoiler Alert:

I'm mad they killed off Wayne. The host on the aftershow thought he was going to make it to the end, too. It was cool how they fit in "Mackie" from the SHIELD on there.Time to put this puppie to sleep.

I think they'll need at least three more meetings to determine territorial rights this season. Maybe one for each hour.

Figuring out which corners the Niners will control is what this whole series has been building up to so people need it answered.

 What do you think Jax agreed to with the other charters? Will they kill him after he gets things straightened out?

My wife doesn't think Jax is going to get killed. I do but I can't figure out who would be the right person to do it.

Jax really has to die for all the crap he's pulled.

Nero would be a good candidate to kill Jax but he doesn't really have any reason to do it. Nero knew Gemma had to die. He can't really blame Jax for that.

There really nobody else on Jax's level that would be a satisfying killer. Maybe just a mob of Sons taking him down. Maybe.

Yeah, I think out of all the storylines the one that is keeping me hooked until the end is to see how the Jax
plot actually ends.

That's the thing about this whole show. None of these people are good people. There's absolutely no character that you feel is on any kind of redemption arc where they would be morally justified to take out the bad guy (Jax) in any kind of satisfying way.

Juice was kind of on that track. It was a very ass-rapey track but you could kind of see how he could have Andy DuFresne'd it out the other side, killed the guys that had wronged him and rode off. Even Unser was a guy that could have pulled that off.

But, now, it's just a bunch of low-life murderers running around from business meeting to business meeting.

I liked the Unser character overall. Anyone who hitches their hopes to Jemma was due to get killed. I admit I
didn't see it going down quite like that. Maybe this guy will get revenge since he finally proclaimed his love for her..

Series ends with a table meeting to decide if Jax meets Mr. Mayhem. They want you to think that the subtle change they brushed by about the vote having to be unanamous. One person votes no...but Jax doesnt tell them about the rule change and Tig kills him. Then goes off into the sunset with Venus,

I thought last night was a great episode. This season really hasn't been as bad as people keep saying. I really can't see Jax surviving, but I would love for him to make it through. Would love to see him and Wendy take the kids down to Nero's farm.

Spoilers are out there already because Kurt Sutter is a fucking putz and decided to have a book written about his show while it was going on. Whoops it was released before the finale and Sutter is pissed. I can now skip the 3 1/2 hour finale.

Horrible finale
so fn cheesy
This might have been worse than the breaking bad finale when a gun just pops out of the trunk and kills just the bad guys

Shit writing at it's finest

Sutter is so full of himself. A Shakespeare epilogue?

This was really close to working. But they had to stage the mayhem vote. OK. Then they staged the mayhem action. OK. But then they couldn't go through with it. OK.

Even all that could have worked. BUT...then you had to have Jax say "I couldn't put you through that, brother"...which makes that the plan all along and a complete cheat to the audience. Ruined the whole episode for me.

Sutter hosting another super-eloquent after show.

Every minute makes the finale look better.

The Breaking Bad finale was very good. Let's not get crazy.

It's beyond belief to me that they would ever let Sutter host another show like this. He's almost gotten worse since that last one.

This is All-Time Worst TV.

Sutter was just so full of himself it drove me nuts. He was a lead writer on the Shield and that finale and he'll final season blows this out of the water

Glad it's done

I turned the after show off before the first commercial break. Agreed on the Breaking Bad finale. A little
far fetched but very original and fit with the series.

I found this finale to be pretty unsatisfying but glad that I watched the series and relieved it is over now.
I thought they were going to burn all of his tattoos off and let him ride off into the sunset. Then I thought
they might kill him in the warehouse which would have been cool as well. The whole OJ Simpson scene
chasing him into the canyon was facepalm worthy. Really bad special effects with the ravens is one of
the things I noticed. The Shakespeare quote at the end was indeed gratuitous and really not needed.

That aftershow is horrible.

Finale? Meh. So so at best.

Also, the whole thing with bread and wine comparing his path to that of Jesus was indulgent. I don't really find Jax's journey comparable to that of Jesus giving himself up on the cross.

That whole thing with the homeless girl should have just been forgotten. Nobody would have been wondering "what about the homeless girl that kept showing up? What did that mean?" It would have just been one of those threads that didn't have any meaning. But, Sutter couldn't help himself. So, the big payoff of her showing up throughout the series was that one day she would give him a coat so he could murder a guy?

I really enjoyed this show over the years but the more I think about this finale, the more it bugs me.

Never watched the show but Im a sucker for finales so I read a summary of the whole show and half watched (fell asleep though)

What was supposed to happen at Mayhem and what did happen?

Putting Chiklis in two of the final scenes seems odd
