Anytime that Dan talks about Illinois athletics, he lets everyone know that Champaign is the Hardcore American South that hates black people and, by association, Chicago, because all their hard-earned Caucasian tax-dollars go to support black people in Chicago.

So, Illinois has to balance between coddling the racist Downstaters and trying to develop a relationship with smart city people.
