Because of this incident, regardless of what happened, there are some folks whose lives are arguably ruined beyond repair ... there are some folks whose lives will soon be ruined beyond repair ... and there are some folks who will yet actively choose to let their lives get ruined beyond repair ... don't ever think I don't actually feel awful about things like this regardless of blame or circumstance.

Figured we'd get a page or so of levity in before this (it would seem) turns really, really sour.

STILL, if nothing else, it's a lesson to be learned to pay attention to simple things like homonyms so that, in times of stress, you instinctively know the differences between "too", "to", and "two".

The way these people have behaved has just reinforced negative stereotypes. Counter-productive to their cause. That all works for me. Take 2 steps back....Doesn't matter how many witnesses they had or how much physical evidence supported the Grand Jury's decision, they were poised to commit acts of violence and vandalism, facts be damned. The Police should have gone with hats and bats (helmets and batons) and beat the shit out of anyone doing those things and send a clear message that it will not be tolerated.

Thank you Frank, I am enjoying Miami (South Beach). Played Miami Beach Golf Club yesterday and then went fishing before going to have dinner with friends we were invited to join for Thanksgiving dinner. Since I got here on Sunday, I didn't really know all that was going on with the marches and rioting much until yesterday, when I took time to look into it. I cannot understand why the Police allow some of the crap to take place that did. When you see people destroying property, they should be arrested immediately. To fail as they did, to demonstrate that this behavior will be dealt with harshly, is to invite further acts of violence and vandalism.

Steve with your years of experience with evidence and sworn testimony, could you please explain to us how the DA says that Wilson never stood over Brown, Wilson has said he never stood over Brown, yet there is photographic evidence of him standing over Brown. That sounds kinda like perjury in these parts.

Have you seen these photos? Do you know when he might have been standing over him? Was it after he was already dead? Unless you have examined all the evidence given to the Grand Jury, to think you can begin to judge this, is silly. They got all the information and decided he did nothing wrong. You punch a cop and try to take his gun, you are asking to be shot. he got what he asked for.

I am shocked at how little outrage there is here about the violence and vandalism caused by the protesters, who clearly were bent on destruction. Here in Florida I have talked with dozens of people about this and everyone thinks the Police should have acted more swiftly, to stop the vandalism and looting. I have not heard one person who didn't think they should have used far greater force to stop the crap that was going on. How anyone can sympathize with the thieving vandals is a mystery to me. They had no real reason for the crap they did. They just used the justifiable shooting of a criminal, as an excuse to engage in their own criminal behavior.

Again, you don't know when the pictures were taken. If they were taken after the thug, criminal was put down, does it matter that he stood over the dead body of the punk? If he was just determining whether he was dead or not, what difference would that make?

Again, the jury had all the facts and decided he did nothing wrong. Case closed.

I've seen some people try and condone the looting and rioting because others do it for a sporting event. Not sure if I've seen anyone here do that. These people don't strike me as the sharpest people though. Nobody condones these acts for random sporting events truly so it just makes them look dumb.

It's the same people looting after a sporting event as in Ferguson. You don't see whites doing that. It's all blacks. They just use something, whether it's a justifiable shooting of a criminal, or an NBA championship, as an excuse for losing their minds and committing vandalism and loot stores. The 40 inch TV they steal isn't going to bring the dead thug back to life, but in truth, it never was about the dead thug or the NBA championship.
