Today's the resumption of the Black Friday matinee in Anaheim: missed it in 2012 and didn't do it last year because the Hawks only made one trip to Anaheim and the Ducks didn't want to blow a big draw on a day game.

Conversely, the Ducks only made one trip to Chicago this year, and we blew it because John Gibson stopped infinity shots on goal and the only hockey player in history whose first name is "Devante" scored shorthanded off a Brad Richards fuckup. The Ducks have struggled a little bit as of late because like the Blues, a bunch of players came down with what turned out to be THE MUMPS, THE FUCKING MUMPS. Get your vaccinations, everyone! It won't give you autism!

Ducks games are always a bugbear of mine because again, like the Blues, the Ducks under Boudreau will give it their all every game (with the exception of bald shithead Ryan "Funny Joke" Getzlaf, who is a total slug) and win games they shouldn't win because they have serious talent and put it to use. Against the Hawks, who not only take games off but practically sip umbrella drinks nonstop from Valentine's Day to the end of the season, the Ducks win more often than not: with Boudreau as coach, Anaheim has won six of nine against Chicago.

Corey Perry leads the team in goals with 12. Matt Beleskey has 10, which I don't get, because I thought he topped out at a third-liner. That douche Kesler has been dangerous as well.

I really dislike this team, so I hope the Hawks win.

Hawks: 13-8-1 (27), 10-9-3 adjusted (23), 29.271 expected
Ducks: 14-4-5 (33), 11-6-6 adjusted (28), 26.097 expected

Hawks: 36.5 shots for (1st), 27.9 shots allowed (8th)
Ducks: 31.0 shots for (7th), 28.6 shots allowed (T-12th)

Hawks: 2.864 scored (8th), 2.091 allowed (3rd), 0.773 differential (3rd)
Ducks: 2.609 scored (17th), 2.304 allowed (8th), 0.304 differential (11th)

Hawks: 7.6 PIM/game (2nd)
Ducks: 12.6 PIM/game (26th)

Hawks: 19/92 20.6% on the power play (9th), 58/64 90.6% on the kill (1st)
Ducks: 14/73 20.3% on the power play (16th), 61/72 84.7% on the kill (8th)

I hate the Ducks too for the simple reason that every year people have to tell me how they're going to win the Cup this year, especially my Stepdad, and I have to constantly remind them that they'll fall flat on their face during the playoffs and eventhough it happens every season, sure enough, the next season I have to hear about how it's the Duck's year this year.

By the way, Hawks: 36.5 shots for (1st), 27.9 shots allowed (8th) + Hawks: 13-8-1 (27) doesn't add up. So frustrating how this team can't finish.

I am taking the family to a 3:15 movie so I'll miss this show. I've had enough of Chicago sports thanks to another Bears loss.

Enjoy folks.

First period was the essence of the 2014-15 Blackhawks: dominant play with a mere one-goal lead because there was a bad bounce and the other team scored. The Hawks really should have scored on that power play to end the frame. The Ducks had a horrid first period but won't be that bad from here on out. They're too loaded with talent.

Up until that fucking unreal bad bounce I was going to say thats the best period Ive seen them play all year.

Kesler got lit up like a Christmas tree and still got the assist. What a fuckface. I hate him. Anyone who roots for him during the Olympics "because he's an American and I stand by my country" can go stand in front of a bus.

Ducks just traded a 3rd for Eric Brewer to shore up that weak third pairing of theirs, by the way.

So do we have a backup goalie anymore or what. I know Raanta was sick on Saturday, but this marks the fourth game he was supposed to start but didn't, and you can't play him against Los Angeles tomorrow because they're OHHH OHHH SO BIG OHHH OHHH OHHH and they'll wreck his shit. Bring back Scott Darling.

What's the matter with Otto Grahm ... I mean, Michael Leighton?

Wow sweet passing there. That line has some hops to it. Anaheim has the not interested sign out for this game don't they?

Palmieri ejected for splitting Oduya's face open on the dasher. Damn, that looked bad. Hope he's not concussed as well. Ducks were targeting him all game.

Kesler doing the "HOLD ME BACK REF HOLD ME BACK" shit to Hjalmarsson. Someone just put a red-hot poker up his ass already, please.

Internet is irate over Palmieri getting tossed. Ducks fans are the pits. Buncha spoiled kids from Orange County who think they're hard because Chris Pronger went around elbowing everyone in the face eight years ago.

Perry with two dangerous cheap shots in the last 10 minutes. That dude should get tattooed when the Ducks come to Chicago.

All that aside, that game should've been 6 to 1 . Great road win for them tonight. Played well start to finish.

Ducks don't come back to Chicago until next year because the NHL shortened the in-conference season series from four games to three.

Corey Perry is one of the most talented scorers in the world but is also vaginal discharge with hands and feet. COME AT ME DAN BERNSTEIN.

Canucks' fans are awful. Twitter is full of Canucks' fans whining about getting screwed by the refs, every time they lose.

Oh, definitely. Spoiled brats in hockey and in life. That's the only Canadian team I won't root for.

Fucking hate Vancouver. Bunch of idiots. Aren't they the bozos waving white towels?

But really, the Kings fans chanting CRAWWWWW FOOOORD! after he allows one goal (to 2 allowed by Quick) shows what a bunch of nitwits they are.
