Edit: didn't see CH's post but point remains.

That must be one of those posts I made?

See, this is what YOU do. You say things that imply other things, and then when people make the natural connection, you deny it because.you didn't say those exact words.

You JUST SAID "did the occupy movement make any difference" (basically). The natural conclusion to draw from that statement is that you don't think it's worthwhile to protest things or speak up unless they create wide scale change.

If you don't want people to draw inferences from what you say or write, then you will have to stop speaking and writing. This is not a court of law, and that's what people do. I can assure you that you do it too.

Did the Occupy movement change something?

 I'm not arguing that it did. That's the entire point of my argument! Do you really not understand what I'm saying, or is this an attempt to change the subject?

I figured it was the constant spamming that he did. If it truly was for that, then bravo.

bigfan wrote:
And I guess the other CHUS PM's about Jimmy Reardon and CHAS didnt count as you complaining about someone? you asked about it 3 times so I answered, although I had no interest in making the claims, but you continued to ask.

Those PMs were in response to the ones you sent me. Those conversations were started by you, every time, and you know it. Let's not do revisionist history.

I will stand by my view, that I think the 30 kids who assembled on a Saturday night in Scottsdale, in Old Town should go home and play X Box for the night. This is like 30 kids who go to Latin High School "protesting" on Clark St with an attempt to stop and break into the Windward sports for some sweet boards in the window, but they are making a statement!

You have been pretty vocal about the people in Ferguson. I didn't just make it up. I'm sure you didn't have to protest much on the mean streets of Winnetka, but you always seem to have a big "fuck you" to people for wanting to have their voices heard. For poor, minority communities, protesting is often the only way to be heard. If Jesse or Al show up, then they are just race hustling. If people protest, then they are savages. You are basically telling them "tough shit" because they don't have a seat at the table.

You keep claiming that this is about white kids in Scottsdale, but the thread is titled Ferguson protesters.

Blatant racism is easy to see and difficult to defend. Often, however, it is not so cut and dry. Many people (including some on this bored) make broad, yet incorrect, assumptions about a race, religion or other characteristic based on a few recent, highly publicized examples.

As for this particular debate, young people have protested since the start of time. As long as it is not violent, who cares?

And then you will bitch about people sending you PM's.

You said that Reardon was sent packing for blatant racism. Please explain how any of Steve's thoughts the last few days don't fit that category.

Thanks in advance for you trying to shift the discussion again when you refuse to answer.

Serious question.... should we really ban posters for racism? I get banning for spamming, but Steve's racism really, in my opinion, shouldn't be silenced. It's a great example of the idiocy of racism. Kind of like "kids, read this and see how stupid racism is"

This is all I said to begin with, and somehow it spiraled into something much stranger. It's probably my fault for even commenting.

I agree. I don't think anything should be banned unless it's personal info. Bigfan bans/deletes a lot of stuff, though. I think that's Chus' s point.

Why do you keep accusing me of crying about other people to you? Every PM exchange we had about Reardon or Chas, was initiated by you. Every. Single. One.

Why are you trying to besmirch my good name?

So before it was that you NEVER sent me any PM's about people, but now it is that the series of PMs are because they are initiated by me that when you send me a PM showing me what CHAS said about you, thats doesnt count. OK.

I handled both of them myself, until you threatened to ban me, if I didn't stop. Let's try and understand some bigfan logic.

-Reardon or Chas pm bigfan, crying about me.
-Bigfan PMs me, and threatens banishment if I don't stop.
-I stop
-Reardon or Chas would engage me in conversation again.
-They PM bigfan again, complaining about me, after I respond.
-I respond to Bigfan with a quote from Reardon or Chas, showing that they initiated the entire thing
-Bigfan says I am crying about them.

Man, are you reaching.

I don't have any. I respond to Steve's stupidity with pictures of horses. That is the only thing that gets to him. He eats it up, when somebody calls him a moron.

For the tenth time, if you don't want certain things associated with your site, but unapologetic racism doesn't meet that criteria, then you can't be upset when somebody may think you don't have a problem with said racism. It's pretty simple.

Someguy, I was wondering what took so long.

And I do love me some horse pictures. The one with the horse smashed through the cars windshield was pretty awesome.
