Back on topic, I think:

I agree with bigfan that people who are protesting should be doing so because of their convictions and not out of the opportunity to bask in chaos and rob stores and grab boobs and so forth. However, I think bigfan is painting with too broad a brush, and that there are more people who are genuinely upset with Ferguson than he's giving them credit for. As long as they're not protesting violently or unlawfully, then I can't begrudge them that, and to take an omnibus approach of "ah just get back to work" is a bit too flippant.
