Is she really a genius or the team behind her? They have done an excellent job of maximizing her exposure.

Always reminds me of Traci Lords! Just a general slutty look, no matter how nice the clothes are.

Talent? She has none. Tinny voice and her subject matter.... sucks.

STFU Panthro... another troll thread.

What? She doesn't look slutty at all. If anything, she's kind of gawky and try-hard.

This is probably the best she's ever looked. I never went for the pale skin/fire-engine-red lipstick thing.

As for her music, she's doing nothing revolutionary. As a songwriter, she's highly overrated; she's backed by all the same producers and songwriting professionals as Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and the rest.

There is no mistaking her talent.

Writing your own tunes is key, but she also assembles her lyrics into extremely well-crafted songs, via using the right production support or whatever!

If you think she is writing everything on her own at this point, you are not aware of the music business. I am sure she keeps her name on it and she becomes part of the process at some point.

I am no muisc expert, but her songs always used to be simple folksy songs with some semi controversial lyrics about guys she banged and dumped.

Thinned her Matt Stafford moon face
Plumped her top lip
Smoothed under her eyes
Thickened brow width
Lengthened her chin

If this is her, she's an idiot for not looking like that all the time.

Writing a good pop song is not easy and it takes talent.

Im not speaking on Taylor Swift, but in general. Like JORR said, there are tons of emo bands out there that couldnt write Call Me Maybe on their best day

You'd better be speaking about Taylor Swift, because, I'm telling you, she's a damn GENIUS!

Not joking.

You can't hate on her, she's got the world by the balls right now, and she has totally earned it.

She writes a catchy pop song. But my statement is not on JUST her
