Since I so maliciously got dismissed with a snide "Lawyers" remark (Bryan) :lol: , I'll try again.

Having hung out with you once, I was quite shocked when there was a period where your posts nearly led to me the conclusion that you agreed and backed most of the bigoted Sherwin-Williams' guy's thoughts & opinions.

Quite a few of your own posts/threads during that period led to pointed responses from myself and others. If I/some chose to continue in those threads, it likely would've grown much more heated. If so, even those (less personal) responses would've likely elicited similar, but muted feelings from you. But, I took a leave from around here, figuring that it's your board, or that you had equally personal (touchy) feelings about the subject, but that things would coolly settle over time.

Frankly, I think this whole matter was unfortunate, but it would be equally detrimental to the Board to ban Chus for heated & an over the top response (that I thought he apologized for) in a very hot button area. Perhaps a more expansive use of the pruning shears would be more appropriate. It often would be welcome.

Frankly, if Chus is banned, I fear that those who tend to vehemently disagree with him politically will make this a much, much less enjoyable place for some of us. Sports and otherwise. But maybe that's just me.
