I have a feeling I'll have to watch this though the Bears game gives me cover.

No Carrie Underwood: Bad.
Moderately Attractive Girl dressed as a feminine man: Meh.
Christopher Walken: Good.

Just remember this when anyone complains about Thursday Night Football. It could be worse.

I really love that look. I like her better as Pan than as Marnie.

True confession: As a young kid I thought Christopher Robin was a girl and I had a huge crush on her (him). My first real girlfriend looked a lot like Christopher Robin.

It looks terrible.

Like a bad SNL skit.

Or a good one, I dunno.

But you repeat yourself.

I hear there's going to be a 2-minute scene where the dialogue is composed entirely of just the word 'Malkovich'.

agree 100%, the promos could easily be confused witha pre-produced SNL skit (pre-produced videos being the only funny parts of SNL these days)

My daughter is the biggest Peter Pan fan I know, she's been Peter Pan for halloween for the past three years. She dressed as Peter Pan three of the six days we were at Disneyworld last summer. She's beyond excited for this.
Also, she's five.

This would have been a big TV event when we grew up and many parents will try to force that feeling upon their kids, but as an example I could only see my 9 year old nephew drop a 'this sucks!' on it.

It probably will.

Now, if they were doing the real story Peter Pan where Peter Pan is a serial killer who murders the Lost Boys for fun then we might have some good live television.

Go try and pitch the story of a fairy living with little boys now and see how that goes.

I know this guy from the horse business named Bob Glazer. His dad invented Mr. Coffee. For awhile he was probably the biggest owner in the sport. He used the nom de course, Peter Pan Stables. My partner and I used to call him Peter Pan. He always had an eccentric haircut. It would be cool if he could play the serial killing Peter Pan.

Rick how was it? I probably should have turned it on after the Bears went down by 3 touchdowns.

I only saw the first half hour and then switched to the Bears game.

If you like dancing pirates and seeing people floating in the air with the cable visible then it would be right up your alley.

It seemed ok for something that is pretty much destined to suck. Walken was good, but I'm not sure if it was good good or bad good.
