Bobby Mac brings up a great point: much like how Josh Harding was not allowed to get mad and kick a wall, getting drunk and falling down a flight of stairs is not a protected injury under the terms of the CBA, so the Hawks could suspend Crawford for violating the terms of his contract and get a few dollars of that $6MM cap hit off the books. I think the Hawks should suspend him. That's business. If that gives you another, by my napkin math, about $450,000 to $600,000 in cap space, take it.
