Sorry Hawg.

Nope just because a report comes out they want a coach, doesn't make anything true.

He's probably gonna stay at Arkansas.

He's loyal, after all.

Bo Pelini seems like a tamer, more focused Rex Ryan to me. He's entertaining, and at least his teams win 9 games a year.

In all honesty, Nebraska is not a better job I don't think right now either.

I'd have to disagree with you there. True, it isn't in the SEC but the Big Ten west
division is wide open and Nebraska has as much opportunity to claim it as theirs
for the next 10 years with the right coach. If Bielema has an interest in making
the playoffs he'll consider moving. I don't see him passing schools in his own SEC
division such as Alabama, Auburn, Texas A&M and LSU long term.

He will make just as much money at Arkansas as he will make at Nebraska, sure he can go play weaker competition in the Big 10 West, but I am not sure he wants that right now.

Time will tell. He has done a good job with the Arkansas program. They lost a lot of
close games to solid teams this season and had a couple good wins. I think Vince
may have made mention that he dream job appears to be at Iowa.

Maybe so, but I don't understand why he or anybody would leave a head coaching job in the SEC for another conference. That may be egotistical, but so are the coaches.

Colorado State coach McElwain is gone to Florida, that was pretty damn quick.

I just saw on my twitter page that Mike Riley will be the new head coach, leaving Oregon St.

Wow that is an outside the box hire for Nebraska.

Very surprising.

And very quiet, nice job by them not letting it get out.

That's...a pretty decent hire.

I would agree with that, he has done a very good job out there being in the shadow of Nike University.

Yeah, can't say he'll be better than Pelini though.

I'd like more details, like length of contract.

Haven't seen anything on that yet.
