6 posters who had things in common called themselves The Crew jokingly (some will tell you we were deadly serious about it, up to you to decide I guess)

It was Kid Cairo, Ivan, myself, DB, Bagels and Free Ajent

It formed becuase those six people got together and hung out one night and then on the board later someone talked of getting the crew back together and it stuck.

These posters enjoyed posting gifs and hip hop lyrics which bothered many people.

Spaulding had issues with a few of these posters and eventually called them out as a group and a feud started. Many believe that the crew ganged up on Spaulding (and ganged up on others) and that the Crew ruined the board.

I think that's a pretty unbiased short history. Im sure it will be corrected though.

Click or no click, people who routinely make the board hard to navigate on a daily basis are usually looked down upon by others.

BRick - I don't ever recall our past board "conflicts" being because of spaulding. I'm surprised you see it that way. It was usually your misconceptions about college athletics, your irrational views on the Cubs and Sox, and your general ineptitude when trying to discuss......anything?

When I say I think the crew individually were great, I include OKC.

We are all flawed and I would hate to be judged when I am at my lowest. I imagine that married life has changed his entire worldview and I think it would be great to see THAT GUY back posting here.
