This team is more like 13's team when it comes to team defense. They're going to smash the Kings in the playoffs this season and win the Cup again.

Nice win removing heads from anuses and overcoming Raantamelo. Looking forward to Darling's turn.

So happy that Saad got the goal. One of my favorites, and he's been in a slump.

I just don't have faith in Raanta going forward. Fingers crossed that Darling can be the guy. The thought of Raanta against the Islanders is making my stomach turn.

Raanta is fine. Hawks are rolling!

Morin now demanding a trade. He came over for Byfuglien, Sopel, and Eager, and will now probably turn into yet another 4th round pick from the Panthers.

He avoided the Panthers and is now a Blue Jacket. They got defensemen Tim Erixon back. I would assume this guy gets thrust into the revolving door on the 3rd pairing.

CH,
I enjoyed reading your opening about the Habs. When I was a kid,my friends and I could give you the line-ups of a lot of other NHL teams besides the Hawks. The Canadiens were dominant back then with guys like LeFleur,Larose,Dryden,LaPointe,Richard,Beliveau. Some played at different times but their dominance was on display from the late 60's to the early 80's for me growing up.

Today,I never watch the Hawks and neither does my son. I try to get in to it but I can't. Maybe playing street hockey, collecting hockey cards and rooting for dynamic players like Mikita,Hull,Esposito had something to do with it. The great French Canadian players names just were easier to remember,I guess. Bobby Hull once said: "If they force us to wear helmets, the fans will not be able to identify us any more." I feel less French Guys and helmets plus too many teams has ruined it for me at least.

There are tons of dynamic players in the NHL right now. There's even one on the Canadiens right now. Quebec has just gone fallow in hockey development for some reason, and I don't think it has to do with helmets.
