The Cub offered him 5 years $60 mill...gotta figure he could have got to at least $75M, maybe $80 mill over 5 years...and they probably would have paid him earlier....

I think the cub still want him back around that number per year, maybe for 4 years...? and then because he is now part of the Sox family (lol) Jerry might be willing to match any offer from the cubs and only the cubs as Jerrys nightmare is coming alive...slowly...Cub become really good, while the Sox head downward,,,,
