Are you JORR? His peripheral stats indicate he's way better than a 4th.

I am not.
He's ok. I don't know why this trade had Cooper all lathered up. He's a guy.

93-69

That's crazy. Stop being crazy.

I think acting like he is a replacement level starter is as silly as acting like he's an ace. He's a good starter. The Sox only had two of them before getting him, so that seems like an improvement worthy of being happy with.

For Shark, on the whole season? Put the O/U at 10.5 and care to make a wager?

I'd take that under. Loser buys the ribs for the next cookout?

Is this your way of making sure I dont come over for another 10 months?

Sounds like a deal.

Darko, the Sox play in a shittay division. I love their lineup. Getting the two old slow fat guys out of the middle of it will help greatly. The Cubs will have a winning record too, but play in a tougher division.

All trolling aside, I pretty much agree with Don. I think the Sox are going to be really good. Best team we've had since '06.

Only an extended DL stint will keep Jeff from Crown Point from getting 15 wins.

Yeah ok but 10 win increases? A middle rotation pitcher that never won double digit games? I'm withholding my Sox boner until there's more improvement. There's still time. Not making solid predictions just yet.

It'd be his season high by a factor of x1.5

Yup. Looks like Darko will be picking up some ribs by the all star break next year.

Actually I hope he does well. I like the guy... just don't think he's a winner.

Holy shit Shark has never even won 10 games? I thought Darko was exaggerating and just checked that. I'm a dumbass.

How much fucking money does this dude want?

So then you think there's a lot of validity to JORR's take on this then? You just think he goes too far with it?

Different argument. Not talking statistics. I think Romo won more games than he lost but I don't think he's a winner.

I don't think the argument is separate though. It's not really a statistical argument. If you boil the argument down, JORR says the pitcher's job is to win games and others say it is to allow the fewest runs possible. If you believe the latter, I dont see how you can say Shark isn't a good SP.

It is different. Like I said, Romo has a nice winning percentage. But I don't think he's a winner. He's actually a fucking loser. It goes against the JORRgument.

Shark gives up a fair amount of homers. That's going to be an issue at the Cell.

86 wins, of course taking good pitching health into account.

88 would have won a play in wild-card last year, so I don't think its impossible for them to contend-- at least for a WC-- this year.

Yeah. You seem to be arguing that losers are winners and winners are losers. And calling someone else a boob.
