I AM new to this site and it seems like you bash everybody and defend the north show yet claim you (or anyone from the North Show) Cares.
Then why does Rock monitor this site?
And I love the Score! B&B is the best show going. Its just unfortunate that I cannot turn on 670 until 200.

I try to take everyone at face value. If he says he is independant of the station I will believe him until proven otherwise. He should be judged on the merit of his post and not the incentive for making it.

Well guys, I came back to do a guest post just to let you know that sometime next Tuesday, the latest and greatest book comes out!!! yippee!!! I wonder what the ratings will be including when people turn off the hawks when they wanted post game Sox coverage

Hey Rock we've been telling you for months how to improve the show, obviously you have not listened. Every book that comes out validates that you guys don't know what your doing. And tell North to quit saying the ratings book is flawed. He got 1.75 million based on the flawed system. To North its only flawed when the numbers are low. Why is that Rock?

We don't know what we're doing, and you know everything that'll put us in first place in the ratings, right?

Come on.....every host is like that. When things are good, everything is right with the world....when everything is bad and ratings dip, Arbitron is screwed up. Every host (even the best in the city) are like that. Just cause Mike does it doesn't give ya the right to get all over him on it.

Mike's just one of those hosts who brings everything to the air, good and bad. Not alot of hosts in this town are as uncensorced as Mike, but they all think the same when it comes to the ratings.

North seems to be at his best during cross-talk/transition. Perhaps WSCR should pencil him in for the 10 minutes between every show instead of giving him one of his own. He could be sort of like an all-time QB. Plus, every show would kick off with “My guys!!!” (or “my guy!” in Murph’s case)

Rock what do you mean I don't have the right to get over North. By that thinking North should never have the right to criticize sports teams for there moves. How does he have the answers. Why doesn't he give an application to the Bears, White Sox, and Bulls. I have every right.

You act as though being a producer is such a elite job....one in which you need 8 years of college. I'm a consumer of sports radio. I have an idea what the masses want to here just like you think you do. If the job was so special why do they only pay you 30 grand.

You say that everyone complains about arbitron when ratings are bad. Maybe so, but it still comes across as sour grapes. If North ever has a good book (doubtful). I want him to come out and say. "Annie, Dem ratings were good but dares no way dat many people listen to dis crap, da ratings are flawed, Rock get Feder on da phone"

They don't pay well because there are so many people that want to get in the door to do it and there just aren't that many jobs available. Anyone can get a sales job anywhere, there are millions of them out there. Can't say the same for producers. What, there are probably 30 or so sports producers in the city?

Whether or not you want to believe it, it's not an easy job like many of you think it is. Plus, the amount you get paid has nothing to do with how skilled you have to be to have the job.

I agree that it is a tough job. That being said those producing the mourning show are not doing well at this tough job. But I won't put it on them, I'll bet Rock smart enough to know that alot of the crap they do is bad radio. I mean Rock has to know that getting a profesional bowler on from the 60's does not captivate an audience. It's probrally tough to tell pappy what to do. Also, they have to walk a fine line and constanly praise him. If they don't he'll show them the door.

But when Rock says that you don't have the right to get on pappy for claiming a flawed system is funny. The whole basis North and others is to criticize sports teams yet he doesn't have the qualifications of a general manager or a coach. Radio people can't have it both ways. They can dish it out with the best....but no one has the right to get on them, because ofcourse they are not qualified to.

That explanation is just plain laughable. It pays nothing because producers for crappy shows are a dime a dozen. I really don't care if the job is easy or not. The skill required is minimal and someone will always fill it. Good luck on your "career" choice.

Here's some truth for you and Mr. Entertainment, your boss Dumbass North should know. We all know Jaime Foxx did a great job as Ray Charles, but Mr. dumbass North says Jaime Farr did a great job in that role.

buck should get the boot. rock should go to brandmeyer. jessie should go back to producing north and get him off the air.

I notice Rocko didn't want to respond after his last post was shot down. Rock I know this is hard for you to believe, but yes alot of people could put on a better show then what you guys do. It's not all your fault dude, I can't hold some one responsible when he's making 25 k. Pappy is to stupid and to proud to be told he's doing things wrong. Your just a kid trying to work his way up. I know you have to walk on egg shells around there. Look at the bright side North once had a producer named Jesse and his Pappy ass kissing got him regular on air time. And he has no talent.
