Look at this sickening article today.
http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2014/12/14/ ... c-trestmanThere is hardly been a more contemptible and cancerous organization in the history of Chicago sports. Every one of these MFs from Cutler to the McCaskey's need to be thrown on the street. I now shit on Hallas and everything the Bears represent.
Jay Cutler may have publicly said that his relationship with Aaron Kromer is fine, but privately it appears to be a different story.
The drama in the Chicago Bears' locker room doesn't seem to be nearing an end. Despite saying otherwise, quarterback Jay Cutler has been "fuming" over comments offensive coordinator Aaron Kromer made to a reporter, writes Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. Cutler's play was the target of criticism from Kromer, who has since made a tearful apology to the team.
Cutler spoke to the media Friday and claimed he wasn't angry that his offensive coordinator called out his decision-making on the field. However, according to La Canfora's report, Cutler is upset enough to the point that it's "hard to imagine him working with Kromer beyond the duration of this last season." The report also suggests that Kromer's statements are enough for the Bears to terminate the assistant coach's contract, which supports a claim from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network that the Bears mulled replacing him last week as a result of the controversy.
Despite leading the NFL in turnovers this season, Cutler isn't likely going anywhere in 2015. The 31-year-old quarterback signed a seven-year, $126.7 million deal with Chicago in the offseason and due to the money guaranteed to Cutler, Kromer is the more expendable of the two.
But Cutler and Kromer are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the drama in Chicago. Per La Canfora, there is "mistrust brewing between players and the staff." Thanks to the hands-off approach from head coach Marc Trestman, there's also a decided lack of discipline in the Chicago locker room, which has seen its share of altercations this season. After a loss in Week 7 to the Miami Dolphins, there were reports fighting between Bears teammates, and earlier wide receiver Brandon Marshall and assistant defensive backs coach Chris Harris were supposedly involved in a charged argument during practice.
So while the writing may be on the wall for Kromer when it comes to his job security, the coaching staff and front office are not on solid ground either. An unstable locker room, a weak defense and a fourth straight year of missing the playoffs are among the numerous problems the Bears have faced this year, and the blame can't all be placed on the quarterback or the offensive coordinator.
