So they are sourcing each other. What a tandem.

Yeah, but that's usually followed up by saying "but that could change tomorrow - all I know is that, as of right now, that's what they're thinking" or some such thing.

I think that's the third time I've heard someone talk about the Bears begging McDonough to leave the Hawks to join the Bears.

It needs to stop immediately. Nobody in the real world is smart enough on the Bears' side or stupid enough on the Hawks side for this to be remotely plausible.

Do the Bears need marketing? They kind of market themselves. They're the Bears.

How about the Bears keep Emery/Trestman for 1 more season so they can draft a top 5 QB?

Right. And the idea that McDonough "created" this winning Hawks team rather than just marketing it and presiding over it is absurd. He filled Wrigley too but he never made the Cubs winners.

There isn't one in 2016.

Maybe Cook from MSU.

Eh, the marketing opens revenue streams, which allows them to spend to the cap. He didn't create it, but he has a big part in it, just like Rocky Wirtz and the Bowmans and Quenneville and the players.

Well, the culture was going to change when Bill died regardless. The Hawks were a sleeping powerhouse just waiting for Wirtz to die. I'm not saying McDonough isn't good at what he does, but you could see the Hawks rising before McDonough came on board.

I do like that Jay has a marker tucked in pocket for autographs.

These guys have become a parody of sports talk with the sources and reports. They are all just some sort of weird combo of Dan and guests trying to make twitter followers for everyone for some strange reason. They cater to the part time listener rather than us. If they do not make big stinks about absolute fiction numbers go down.

I would try to track this change in their show to the start of people meters rather than books but I am lazy and Curious is better at that.

Fell into two of the biggest no brainers in the history of sports.

STFU and let Harry fill Wrigley.

Follow Peter Wirtz.

No. All SHARK kept doing was air quotes and linking YouTube music videos. They bailed after a minute.
