Not only has his own station not wanted to report it, so Mully and Hanley had Bernstein on the air for him to report his story. Pompei, Mully, Biggs, all guys well connected at Halas Hall have heard nothing...thus they report nothing and make sure it is tied back to Bernstein.

2 questions remain:

IF this meeting took place before the Monday night game and Dan found out about it after the game on Monday night, why turn in some 'story' about some oil anology?

Second, this story is being tied back to Bernstein on every level as nobody else has confirmed it. If it is true, especially after the Kromer leaks, how can you not go right to Scott Hagel and fire him as well on dec 29th?

I still dont believe anyone said Shit to Bernstein about Tresty getting canned and he is just reported the obvious as a story now, I think almost every journalist agrees as none of them want to report it, but all attach it back to Bernstein from every outlet.

Bernstein just continues to make it tough to be on the right side of an issue!

Why? What's the upside for Hagel or whomever it is? There is none. Probably a good paying job. Maybe close to 100k I would guess. Why do you risk that job so Dan Bernstein can report daily updates on what's going on? Makes no sense.

Here's what makes it more obvious that it's bullshit.

Wow. What a coincidence. The two guys who work a show together are the only two guys in the city to have info that a meeting took place and that he'll be fired.

Bernstein quickly used Boers lie as cover for his lie saying "With Terry's guy we now have two different sources telling us the same thing."
