This is the 1st paragraph from his "column" on Jimmy Clausen on Wednesday:

"For reasons that are unclear to me, Marc Trestman elected to give his players an extra day off on Wednesday, confusing his apparent belief that by going overly easy on his players it will make them play better with the job of being a head football coach."

What? They're going to play with the job? I didn't edit or change any of that garbage.

Nice writing. My brain hurts trying to decipher what Hub is trying to say, and it's his opening paragraph. You know, the one that's supposed to draw the reader in to read the entire thing. I couldn't. I came here immediately to dbag him for his poor writing skills.

Hub was at his weasel-iest on Sunday morning pre-game with Mannelly. They had just reported that Long was out with a hip injury and Hub speculated that because Long is friends with Cutler, perhaps this was Long showing solidarity for Cutler by faking an injury. Mannelly immediately rejected that theory, saying Long was a team player and professional. Hub immediately backpedaled, "I'm not saying that, but I wanted to get that theory debunked before any moron called to suggest it." :lol:
