yeah it means nothing.

Cutler deserves all the criticism and deserves to be benched based on his play.

But a part of me feels sorry for him having to deal with that boob after having to deal with Martz.

He definitely has not had an easy road as far as people to work with while here in Chicago.

Just shows how crappy this organization has been in the last few years.

What the hell are you guys talking about? WHo cares if he sounded great at the press conference. Maybe after playing like ass lately has put a dent in the Jay Cutler sail. Horray for acting like a human!

Cutler has been coddled since he has been here. Bears should have benched him weeks ago. For Cutler to be "shocked" that he was benched shows how out-of-touch w/ reality this guy is. Trestman should have moved him to 3rd on the depth chart and inactive on Sunday.

I played golf with Ronnie Bull at an MJH Charity Outing. Excellent guy.

Good friends with Norm Van Lier apparently also. Norm was in the group behind us.

I'm amused when Terry starts sentences with "I think..." and finishes them with "...I'm told."

You can hear his course correction mid-sentence.

You're criticizing (as opposed to joining) the mouth-breathers who make up things to hate about Cutler, right?

Totally agree. I really don't think Cutler gives a shit about this. If the Bears win when he's playing, great. If they lose, great. Just keep the checks coming. He knows Trestman is gone.

Cutler can certainly be laid back and appear rational when his money is going to come no matter what.

As far as the callers, learn to get pronunciation right. It helps to have an outline of what you have to say as far as anticipating potential arguments the hosts may make, then coming up with counter arguments for that.

You have to be an idiot to keep Emery....he's the guy that signed Cutler and hired Trestman> I wouldn't let him back into Chicago!

If you suck at your job but are going to get paid tens of millions of dollars anyway, your stress levels are probably going to be fairly low. I'm sure Cutler doesn't like getting benched, is pissed and embarrassed about it, and probably doesn't like playing like crap, but when his financial security is guaranteed and he shouldn't have to work another day in his life if he doesn't want to he might not get too worked up about it -- at least not for long.

Terry agreed with Mannely during transition when Mannely said that he thinks the benching might be an Emery move.

Right now Terry is telling Dan that Terry's guy told Terry that Emery is on too shaky a ground to have made this move and that it had to be Trestman.

Does Terry just automatically agree with whichever host spoke last regardless of situation?

Meaning, Terry's guy is Mannely

Well this guest just answered their unanswerable question. Montana benched for Young and came back large.

That seems like it's revisionist history.
