Nice effort. Definitely can be a backup in the league, maybe even a starter eventually

Still bad, but probably less bad than he was.

He can possibly be Brian Hoyer.

He was not "bad" yesterday. Not at all.

He seemed to hit a lot of guys in the hands. I saw maybe a few bad throws all day.

He wasn't bad yesterday. He still is probably bad.

He looked improved though. As I said, he can possibly round into a Brian Hoyer type.

I dont know what his ceiling is or why you'd be so sure of it, but that's pretty much what I said. A journeyman backup that can maybe start at some point.

exceeding low expectations

You can be competitive in the NFL right now if you avoid turnovers, which the other guy isn't able to do.

We're creating shoutout threads now for somebody who might be good enough to be a backup in the league someday?

from one game you can tell he's an above average backup QB in this league... assuming he is no worse next week he probably nets a contract for 1-2 years at 2 mil per at least from these two games... or perhaps a contract similar to the one speigal gave liriano (39 years for $3m)

To clean off the shame of sleeping with Jimmy Clausen.

Shoutout for a Bears QB exceeding expectations. It's been a while.

Was the expectation to lose? Because we have had alot of that as Bears fans.

Stop with your negativity, he is alreading earnng a multi year back up quarterback job contract, that could possibly end up as a starter.

He only scored 7 points on two TD throws? That's crazy! They should have won. The scoring was wrong!
