Claussen ran the offense better than Jay. Jay does his own thing and falls in love with Marshall.

Also, aside from Claussen, I dont know how you can ever say "Cutler would have won that game" with his propensity for turnovers. That's the reason you can never trust him or count on him.

BTW, Detroit's Defense is awesome.

Hypothetical Jay Cutler is elite.

Trestman's offense works, if you run it.

Just saying that this would have been Cutler's 4th worst game of the year if he had Clausen's stats and people would have been lighting him up for that game.

They needed a roughing the kicker penalty to do that.

Except no one is saying he's great. I said he did his job as a backup and might develop into a starter someday.

I think even Cutler haters would put blame on the receivers yesterday.

But the offense looked better yesterday than it has in a while (not counting Jay's garbage time heroics)

Nope he throws it rhythm, hits receivers in the hands and doesn't turn the ball over. He is GREAT!!!

There haven't been a lot of garbage time heroics. That was debunked by me weeks ago. He has 4 touchdowns and 4 turnovers in garbage time. That is actually worse than he's done when the game mattered.
