I think recent weeks have shown that the Oline and the WRs are still part of the problem

With a pro bowl receiving core, pro bowl running back and the 90's Cowboys offensive line, Cutler could really be above average.

The excuses were later. They had to explain why a journeyman backup outplayed him.

You guys who think Cutler is anything but a bad QB are hilarious at this point. I dont what else to say. I strongly disagree.

There are several teams that want him as their longterm QB.
I'm comfortable in my position that he's good enough if the rest of the team is good.

I dont think there are several teams that want him, but ok.

I think he would fail even if everything around him was perfect.

Isn't that pretty much what everybody has been saying lately?

The rest of the team isn't bad. That's how it is able to play a close game with the playoff bound Lions with a fucking back-up.

The "right coach" for Jay Cutler is a mythical beast like a fuckin' unicorn or a sasquatach.

He's not even that talented anymore. He's already losing his only asset, arm strength.

You need to stop listening to LoHo listening to Dan Bernstein.

Actually, CSFMB had that last year.

And it doesnt matter. Arm strength is not even that important.

Peyton Manning throws wobbly ducks, but they are accurate.

the fix is in! loho, mully, hanley, snapper, spiegs all defending cutler by way of ripping trestman.

I don't get it really. A bum off the street gets the same results as Cutler and that proves Cutler is not the problem.

If it's so bad, how could it possibly perform as well as it did with losers like Clausen and McCown at quarterback. It must be okay, right? Or does it just get better when anyone besides Jay Cutler gets under center?

Because so much money is tied up in a terrible quarterback.

The coaching staff sucks.
The rest of the team sucks.
agreed.
Doesn't change the fact that Cutler sucks.

In 9 years, no matter who is around him, he still turns the damn ball over. That alone makes him a bad quarterback. Period.

Here is where the "but what about the defense and special teams" argument falls apart

Cutler is paid like a guy who is good enough to overcome those things.

This whole Jay Cutler defense team thing at WSCR is out of control now. Rongey actually just suggested there may be a conspiracy among the television networks to keep a camera constantly on Cutler and only actually show him when he makes that douchey face or acts like a jackass.

Tom Thayer ripped Cutler on M&H this morning if anyone heard it. It's probably been deleted from the podcast as it doesn't fit the narrative.

in the end will we find out that it was brandon marshall behind the grassy knoll all along? i love how bernstein has to witchhunt the guy who does an hour of programming up against him once a week.

This is the same station that pats itself on the back for making Bears' fans smarter, right?

Jim Miller also pretty much said it's up to him, hasn't learned in 9 seasons, and likely won't.
