are you sure about this? Because he is also listed for the White Sox as a team ambassador and part of the White Sox speaker's bureau?

He's a bad, angry drunk. I know some people that lived near him saying he was always drunk and always a dick to everybody in the neighborhood.

:( One of my favorite Southsiders whoever played.

Never forget the feeling in '81 when Sox got free agents Carlton Fisk, Ron LeFlore and Greg Luzinski. We all thought that Reinsdorf & Einhorn really meant business.

I've always heard Fisk could be difficult. A guy I know had a daughter that played volleyball with Fisk's daughter at UIC. He said Carlton was often surly, sat far away from the other parents and didn't stick around long after the games were over.

He was constantly hounded for autographs.

Anyway, Happy Birthday, Chico!

I was never a fan of Fisk. And I never considered him a White Sox. When the Sox had the courtesy to allow him to break a record even though he was completely washed up and unable to perform, he acted like an assbag. This was the same fucking guy who along with Guillen made a big deal about Minnie getting a couple at-bats at the end of a season. Neither Guillen nor Fisk had or has any respect for the fans. That's my biggest beef with both of them.

Yup. Fisk is a Red Sox just like Maddux is a Brave and Sammy Sosa is a Cub.

I liked him as a player. Met him once and chatted for about 10 minutes. Was nice enough to me. Seemed like a prickly sort though.
