This may be the worst movie ever made.
I mean Plan 9 bad. That bad.
No, worse. This movie took a couple stars and made them schmucks. Then, it took Jamie Lee Curtis and made her a joke. I know she's the "scream queen" and not exactly multi Oscar worthy but Damn. She mailed this fucker in to make some quick seamless cash. I'd say that Tim Allen should be ashamed as well but Makin this piece of shit probably funded more booger sugar than sucking dick on the Boulevard could. This man is now the king of Christmas shit sellouts after those miserable Santa Clause movies. But hey, you need to make junk like this to afford your blow. Got a go what you gotta do I guess.
The message sucks. The jokes suck. The name of the main characters was ridiculous.
Conform or die! Great message.
Oh but the twist! The antagonist AND the protagonist have a change of heart? Ooh! How original. I may fart!
I love the way the power company technician restarted the power.
Awful...
Awful...

This movie is like having unanesthecised dental surgery.
I'd rather jump into a pool of my own vomit that watch this shit.
This movie is like stubbing your toe After accidentally cutting your testicles off with a 7 1/4 inch Skil saw.
This movie is worse that sharting yourself while walking down the aisle at your own wedding.
I'd rather punch myself in the scrotum with brass knuckles than see this again.

Try Deck the Halls
with Mathew Broderick & Danny Devito.
Or don't it's worse. I know. I've sadly seen both (and own them  ).

This movie was worse than getting run over by a steamroller... feet first.

I'd rather drill a 3/4 inch hole into my own skull with a hammer drill than watch this movie.

Oh. And Cheech. Cheech.
You fuck.
I mean, I handled Nash Bridges. Kind of. But this.

My god.

it's bad. it's not deck the halls bad.
Deck the Halls had an episode on the "how did this get made?" podcast and it's almost not 'fun bad'

Watching this is more painful than masturbating with muriatic acid as a lubricant.

I can't imagine anything being worse than this... not even sticking red hot safety pins into your urethra.

This might have been worse than getting shot in the face with a bazooka.

Cory is right.
That cover looks worse than sliding down a 50 foot razor blade into a pool of lemon juice.

I saw Deck the Halls in the theater when it came out. I was in Denver at the time on Thanksgiving break, and my little cousins wanted to see it.

I tried sleeping but I couldn't. It was fucking brutal, and I generally like the cheesy Christmas movies because I love Christmastime.

Interesting. I hated this last year too.

i wondered why the book "skipping christmas" was adapted into "christmas with the kranks". i remember liking the idea, and liking that John Grisham was completely breaking character. but even the book was sort of panned. For all its clever curmudgeonly edge and minor charms, no way does this Christmas yarn from Grisham rank with A Christmas Carol, as the publisher claims. Nor does it rank with Grisham's own best work. The premise is terrific, as you'd expect from Grisham . . . But as clever as this setup is, its elaboration is ho-hum. There's a good reason why nearly all classic Christmas tales rely on an element of fantasy, for, literarily at least, Christmas is a time of miracles. Grisham sticks to the mundane, however, and his story lacks magic for that . . . The misanthropy in this short novel makes a good antidote to the more cloying Christmas tales, and the book is fun to read. To compare it to Dickens, however, is...humbug.--Publishers Weekly

when EW gives your book a C+, i don't think you can expect a great Hollywood movie out of it. especially if it's going to star tim allen.
