No way McCaskey fires Emery unless he has something ready. So, you have to ask, who they hell could Mccaskey know to be able to get them on board so quickly.

Both Trestman and Emery have two years remaining on their contracts after this season. It wouldn't make sense for a GM who has two years remaining on his contract, who does not warrant a contract extension at this juncture, to be making a head coaching hire that would impact the next 4 or 5 years.

I'd be surprised if Chicago hires a 1st year head coach; main concern is that Singletary has been talked up again by some national writers, and is technically a veteran coach now. I would hope that the Bears look elsewhere, but the candidates who fall into that group (Shanahan, Ryan) don't get me excited either.

None of the potentials get me excited, but no damn way should Singletary be anywhere near the head coach's office.

If he is the hire, the only people that are excited are the idiot meatballs that treat 1985 like it's still relevant.

I think Harbaugh loves total control. You get that in college. Ann Arbor v SF, tough sell on the wifey I am guessing. cant imagine she doesnt enjoy the SF highlife.

As much as Trestman should be fired, there's nobody I want to hire.

Once again, the entire organization on bad time lines.

The offense is looking to do a quick repair for next year. The defense needs a full rebuild. Few of the last 3 years draft picks have worked, so here comes a new drop of DJ Wiliams.

Need a full 3 years minimum to rebuild the defense and IF the offense gets better, it will be done in 3 years and time to rebuild that.
